I want to start documenting it before I forget the little things. Handwriting a journal sounded lovely, but the time it takes means fewer entries and lost details.
I've decided to fill out this simple form I found every week. I like that it keeps me from being too wordy.
How far along: 18 weeks
Gender: Surprise!
Weight gain: 17-19 lbs (I fluctuate constantly)
Maternity clothes: Still in a number of my regular shirts (a few were purchased at larger sizes in December). First pair of maternity pants! They feel like sweatpants but look like skinny jeans. :)
Stretch marks: Maybe a few added
Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: Had some bad nights of sleep, but am making up for it. I'm always ready for a nap!
Best moment this week: Finding those amazing maternity pants!
Worst moment this week: Way too much chocolate on Wednesday (yuck), realizing I have an infection, and huge emotional/spiritual breakdown with some depression.
Miss anything: My waist and my hourglass-fitting clothes.
Movement: Little flips and swishes, a few big kicks at my pants waist/seatbelt level.
Cravings: Starbucks ICED COFFEE. (Decaf, venti, 3 pumps sweetener, cream, light ice.) YUMMMMMMM.
Queasy or sick: Moments of "eh" to out-right nausea here and there, but they pass quickly.
Looking forward to: Wearing my new maternity dress to Shabbat services tomorrow! Finally, a dress!
