How far along: 32 weeks
Gender: Surprise!
Weight gain: 42 lbs
Maternity clothes: Same. But please, God, no more waistbands.
Stretch marks: "Flames" all around me
Belly button in or out: Same. Top is out.
Sleep: My least favorite thing is bedtime. Why? Because I know I'm in for a night of "work" to get comfortable and try to sleep. I've added more pillows. And more pillows.
Best moment this week: Prenatal, scheduling my next visit, which is the home visit after vacation!
Worst moment this week: Having a cold, allergies, heartburn, and claustrophobic feelings inside thanks to baby squishing me.
Miss anything: Breathing and not feeling like my insides are getting compacted. I lie down on my side and can feel a sinking feeling as baby and uterus shift. Ugh.
Movement: Slower, no more sharp kicks anymore. But I've had some major cramped pain deep inside from baby's weight all week. I can't get relief.
Cravings: Lemon. I want everything to taste like lemon drops and lemonade. I want everything to smell like lemon oil. I also have had this crazy craving for other smells, like exhaust fumes, gasoline, paint, etc. Just seeing those words makes me feel like an addict wanting a fix. On a healthier note, I'm in LOVE with my jojoba oil shampoo. It's so weird, because I've used it since January and thought it was so-so back then.
Queasy or sick: Stayed home most of the week fighting a cold, then allergies, and overall discomfort and lethargy.
Looking forward to: The beach! Allergy relief and officially done work (except for a day at the office to close shop).
